Running out of Internal Memory? Install Apps on SD Card

Install Apps on SD Card

Android lets you install third party apps on the SD card instead of in the device’s internal memory. This makes sense if your internal disk is getting filled up or if you just want to keep large apps apart. Be careful, though, because apps running from the SD card will reset from time to time given that the SD card will be remounted once in a while.

You can move an installed app to the SD card by going to Settings -> Apps, then select the app and tap on Move to USB Storage.
