How to Erase data from your lost Android device

Unfortunately, at times, we lose our smartphone/tablet or it might get stolen as well without our knowledge. However, it likely contains a good amount of data some of which is probably sensitive personal/official data.

However, if you prevent prying eyes from getting to that data, plus apps to help you find a lost device, we have lots of app on the app store. Today, we guide you on how to erase the content, lock the device and with little luck retrieve the phone. Today, we are going to do the above-mentioned process using Find My Device is on by default for Android devices. In order for the ‘Find my device to work’, your device must be turned on, signed in to a Google Account, connected to the Internet either by data or wifi, Location and Find my device turned on. Once you see your device in ‘Find my phone’, it will show your device’s last location, and the device gets a notification.
